SASSARI 7 LUGLIO 2013 – E’ stata una Muay thai esplosiva che ha fatto vedere uno spettacolo in crescendo, incontro dopo incontro, quella che per una notte ha appassionato Sassari e il pubblico che ha assiepato all’inverosimile il Pala Simula (palestra bunker) di via Poligono. Ieri (sabato 6 luglio) i titoli in palio, italiano Pro, europeo e il Trofeo Tarantini, sono rimasti in Sardegna grazie alla determinazione dei tre atleti isolani Sara Donghi, Mauro Serra e Andrea Serra.
Sul ring allestito nella palestra di via Poligono gli atleti si sono dati battaglia senza esclusioni di colpi. E lo spettacolo è cominciato sin dal primo degli otto match di supporto, sei di Muay thai e due di Mma con le regole del Valetudo. Gli atleti sardi hanno da subito sfoderato la loro tecnica mostrando grandi doti con i colpi alla figura, i calci medi e alti, le gomitate e le ginocchiate.
Grande show di Marco Marras (Fight club gym) nel secondo incontro di Mma. Il sassarese si è trovato di fronte un avversario inedito, Michael Bene dello Sparta Fight club. Al sassarese sono bastati un minuto e venti secondi per aver ragione dell’avversario. Proiettato a terra da Bene, Marras si è difeso nel migliore dei modi e con un triangolo, gamba-braccia, seppure sotto il suo avversario, ha stretto il collo del suo antagonista costringendolo alla resa.
