Adrenalina e brividi all’Explosion extreme XV

A Cristiano Sanna il titolo italiano juniores, a Roll Boy quello europeo di Mma e al cagliaritano Federico Mazza il “trofeo Muggiolu”.

SASSARI 17 novembre 2013 – Il titolo italiano juniores di Muay thai resta in Sardegna per squalifica, quello europeo di Mma vola in Olanda mentre il trofeo per il migliore atleta è di un cagliaritano. È il verdetto dell’Explosion extreme XV – quarto trofeo internazionale Franco Muggiolu che ieri (16 novembre), al Pala Simula di via Poligono a Sassari, ha visto salire sul ring le migliori scuole isolane, siciliana e olandese di muay thai e di arti marziali miste (mma – ‘mixed martial arts’).

Sedici incontri da alta tensione, con la sessione dedicata al main event che ha scatenato vere e proprie scariche di adrenalina e brividi.

In evidenza quindi i due match clou che hanno chiuso la serata del “Muggiolu”, prima quello dedicato alla disciplina thailandese con il palio il titolo italiano juniores quindi di Mma per il prestigioso titolo europeo. A salire per primo sul ring è stato l’idolo di casa, il sedicenne Cristiano Sanna (team Tarantini), già campione italiano juniores Open, opposto al diciassettenne campione regionale siciliano Giovanni D’Amico (team Cosmos del maestro Carmelo Di Pace). Un vero e proprio incontro elettrizzante di muay thai (kg 57) che ha messo duramente alla prova i due giovani atleti. Il match, sulla distanza delle cinque riprese della durata di due minuti, si è giocato tutto nelle prime tre. Il primo round si è chiuso a tutto vantaggio del sassarese e il secondo ha visto Sanna sferrare una lunga serie di calci andati a segno e controllare l’avversario. Nel terzo round l’epilogo: Sanna viene messo all’angolo e dopo aver ricevuto una serie di ganci al volto e uno al fianco, l’atleta ha perso l’equilibrio ed è caduto a terra. Secondo le regole muay thai, in quella posizione l’atleta dominante non può più toccare il suo avversario. Il siciliano, invece, ha sferrato una violenta tibiata al volto di Sanna. I giudici hanno richiamato D’Amico e, dopo l’intervento medico per Sanna, hanno squalificato il siciliano. La prova dell’azione scorretta è arrivata anche dalle immagini video acquisite dai giudici. Il titolo è stato quindi assegnato a Cristiano Sanna per squalifica dell’avversario.

Adrenalina pura nel match di Mma (kg 66) sulle tre riprese da cinque minuti. Per Marco Marras (team Tarantini), uscito sconfitto ai punti, è stata una prova di resistenza che ha messo in luce il grande carattere del tre volte campione italiano della disciplina. Il suo avversario Roll Boy, campione olandese ottimo striker, molto versatile ed esperto anche nel combattimento corpo a copro e a terra, ha dato subito del filo da torcere al guerriero di Dualchi, non al meglio delle condizioni. Pugni, prese al collo e leve da brivido hanno infiammato l’incontro e il pubblico numerosissimo sugli spalti. Alla fine a spuntarla e portare a casa il trofeo è stato l’atleta olandese della Calmaro Gym.

A portare a casa il trofeo Muggiolu invece è stato Federico Mazza della Serra Muay thai Academy. Il giovane atleta cagliaritano, allenato dal due volte campione europeo di Muay thai Mauro Serra e dal campione italiano professionisti Andrea Serra, ha dato dimostrazione di grande tecnica nel match contro Nicola Chessa (Hua Ciai di Sestu). L’incontro ha visto i due darsi grande battaglia sino alla fine, con Chessa pronto a rispondere ai colpi dell’avversario. Alla fine i giudici hanno decretato la vittoria per l’atleta della Serra Muay thai Academy.

Tra i match di Main event si segnala poi la vittoria per ko di Davide Puggioni (Tarantini Muay thai boxing & Mma) contro Francesco Porru. Grande prestazione poi per Francesco Piras (team Tarantini) che ha vinto l’incontro di Mma contro Andrea Iacomini (Nur Valetudo di Porto Torres) al primo round per sottomissione, con una leva alla gamba. Dagli incontri di Muay thai escono vittoriosi anche Sergio Piras (team Neri) contro Siro Marras (Chang Peuk), l’ottimo Gian Maria Pisanu (Thai Kadai Nuoro) contro Lorenzo Escana (Hua Ciai Muay thai di Sinnai) e Alessio Pisano (Serra Muay thai Academy) contro Marco Loi (Hua Ciai Muay thai di Sinnai).

Si sono vissute grandi emozioni anche negli otto incontri Under card. Bello l’incontro tra Marta Ruzzu (Fight Club Brigadores di Nulvi) allenata da Vincenzo Casu che ha sovrastato la sua avversaria Erica Andreuccetti della Hua Ciai Sestu e allenata da Fabrizio Puddu. L’atleta del Brigadores si è imposta per ko nella terza ripresa.

Vittoria meritata ai punti per Giovanni Mulas (team Tarantini) che ha battuto un mai domo Andrea Melis (Sabai Muay thai). Quindi buona prestazione per Danilo Murroni (Tai Kadi Nuoro) che ha vinto ai punti contro Davide Farci (team Masala). Sempre ai punti hanno vinto Valentina Agus (Cerbero gym Oristano) contro Martina Puggioni (Tai Kadai Nuoro) e Pietro Melis (Hua Ciai Sestu) contro Lucio Franzinu (Sabai Muay thai).

Portano a casa un pareggio che soddisfa tutti Roberto Anedda (Tai Kadai Bolotana) e Damiano Vacca (Huai Ciai Sinnai) e la brave Giulia Meloni (Fight Club Brigadores di Nulvi) e Michela Demontis (team Tarantini)

Il trofeo internazionale è organizzato dalla Polisportiva Fight Club di Angelo Tarantini e Vincenzo Casu, sotto l’egida della Federazione Muay thai Italiana, dell’Endas e delle sigle internazionali Onesongchai-KL e MMA Network.
